Nathan Bray- Ceramist

Nathan’s journey with clay began in 1992 when taking pottery classes at Fremantle TAFE and he remains a self-confessed clay nerd to this day.
Nathan is a qualified teacher and holds current Police Clearance WA, Working with Children Card, and COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
His qualifications include a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Clay and Glass), Bachelor of Education (Design and Technology Education), and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
With twenty-five years of working to improve heat processing equipment, Nathan has designed and commissioned a range of industrial appliances including biomass combustion boilers, drying, calcining, re-crystallization, burnout, heat treatment, glass melting, and foundry equipment.
Returning to his original training, Educational Kiln Supplies was established to focus on pottery and glass making in education, training new artists and teachers to advance understanding of this exciting and nuanced process.
